Time flies...

Has it really been that long since I took the time to update??? Where does the time go? Right now, I guess it's going to ball games, ball practices, church, friends to spend the night, and LAUNDRY!!! If anyone has ideas to make laundry disappear without actually having to touch it, I'm all ears...

So...my idea for today is...

These are a few of my favorite things... (In no particular order...)

1. Hearing Katie sing
2. Luke's eyes
3. Hearing Brady say "Mommy"
4. Watching the kids play t-ball and softball, and hearing Brady say "Hit that ball!"
5. Having my hair played with
6. Hugs and Kisses
7. Feeling the new baby move
8. Grey's Anatomy
9. My wonderful husband who helps me with housework
10. Having my mom and dad closeby
11. Teaching everyday (ok...ALMOST everyday)
12. Going out to eat
13. Our Sunday School class
14. Our new preacher, his willingness to step on toes, and his sweet family
15. Wal-Mart!
16. Watching my kids hug when one is hurt or sad
17. Family vacations
18. Reading a good "trashy" novel at the beach while the waves come up on my feet
19. SHOES AND PEDICURES!!!!!
20. My life that God has so richly blessed with good health for my family.

I forced myself to stop with 20, but I think I could have continued on and on. What blessings I have been given. I only have to think of one to think of ten more. I don't thank God enough...

So...now for a few of my favorite pictures. I have new ones to put on the computer, but I haven't made it that far yet.

Nothing like a movie star, a Power Ranger, and Superman to make you smile. Hey Superman, the camera is over here!

Hair art! What a masterpiece!

Brady is teeny here, but I love the outfits and the looks on their faces.

Thanks for reading. I'll try to do better and not let weeks go by in between posts.
Lots of love, Kelley

Playmates...

Hi again...
I've been looking back through pictures, and I can't believe how much the kids just love playing with each other. I better cherish these moments now...as they grow up I'm sure they will be fewer and far between!

Is there anything kids love more than a box?

Or maybe a plastic tub?

I guess that's why they've all stayed so sick this year. They stay piled on top of each other half of the time, even when they aren't supposed to due to a virus. I've missed so many days of work that I only have 1 day left!!! Luke had strep 5 times from September to December. So, they took his tonsils out in January. He did amazingly well, and we all survived. I don't know that I have ever been that scared in all my life!

I'm sure that cold popsicle was just what his little throat needed!

I also have to vent about something that made me VERY aggravated!!!!! I was putting new pictures on my computer, and EVERY PICTURE I have made since January on my camera has disappeared from the memory card! The main thing I can think of that I'm missing is Katie's birthday. It makes me sick to know that those images are forever lost!!! It's probably better that I don't know everything else that I lost. I'd probably be scarred for life.... SO, if there are any computer people out there who can help me, I WOULD LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!!!!!

Well, thanks for checking in on us. I enjoy updating and looking back on pictures of my babies. Post a comment if you are reading. The kids would love hearing from you.

Lots of love, Kelley

Easter fun...

I finally got Easter pictures on my computer, so I thought I would share those today. I have to admit, we were the biggest "cheese" family around. ALL of us matched in our green. We didn't get a picture of all 5 of us, but here are the kids. Aren't they adorable?

They had a blast hunting eggs, and we couldn't ask for better family to spend the day with. So, enjoy the pictures!

The best part of the day was realizing that Katie and Luke are now old enough to really celebrate the true meaning of the day. Although the eggs and food are wonderful, they talked a lot about how Jesus rose from the grave on Easter. We were blessed to be able to go to sunrise service, and I hope they are always thankful to have that opportunity. As they are kids, they didn't enjoy getting up so early...but it's a special time. It's our job to teach them that.

Thanks for reading, and I hope your Easter was as special as ours!

Lots of love, Kelley

And so it starts...

Well, I've been wanting to do this for a while now. There are several families I follow, but I haven't taken the time to start my own...

There is SO much to tell! I'll start with my precious babies, who are growing up amazingly fast.

First, there is Katie. She is 8 now, and words can't describe how grown up she seems. She loves softball and basketball, yet she still seems to be a very prissy girly-girl. Katie is a tremendous help with the younger ones, and I couldn't make it without her. She is very smart, and I'm proud of everything about her.

Then, there is Luke. He is four, all-boy, and hardly ever slows down. He's playing t-ball now, and really seems to have a great time out there. He is his daddy made over. His heart couldn't be any bigger, but getting on his bad side isn't any fun. He definitely has a hot head, but he is truly an angel!

Our third gift from God is Brady. He was a year old 2 days after Christmas. He has just decided to start walking, and it has really been a "choice" for him. No prodding, bribing, or begging helped at all. He had to build up his nerve, and having an older brother and sister who do everything for him hasn't really given him motivation to do things on his own. Brady is different with his brown eyes, but he reminds us of Luke and Katie both. He is adorable and very loved. It is wonderful to see more and more of his personality come out every day.

We are expecting a new baby girl in June. Our due date is June 27. I can't tell you how excited we are to meet her. She will be named Haley Caroline, and the kids are very tickled to have a baby sister. What a perfect little family...2 boys and 2 girls. Could we be any more blessed?

Well, thanks for reading. My goal is to post often, as I know I enjoy reading updates from other families. Life is so busy now, and we don't keep in touch as we should. This is at least a way to know what is going on with those that are special to us!

Lots of love,
Kelley
